The majestic mountains of the Southern Alps have made the West Coast a truly unique destination, providing its abundant resources and spectacular scenery. Stretching 600km along the coast from rainforest in the north to glaciers and majestic landscapes in the south, the West Coast has many colours. Discover the history and heritage from coal mining relics and historic townships, to the spectacular mountains, stunning coastal vistas and everything in between. The West Coast is awe-inspiring and will never fail to surprise and delight.
Our tour starts with a flight to Queenstown. Journey from Queenstown through to Haast and then up the West Coast to Westport, before returning to Greymouth via the spectacular Buller Gorge and Reefton. From Greymouth journey through Moana, Lake Brunner to Arthurs Pass and onwards to finish in Christchurch.
