Tuesday 19th  Auckland to Hobart
Dinner

Flying direct to Hobart, arrive late morning and enjoy an orientation tour including Mt Wellington for panoramic views of the city and beyond before checking into your accommodation.

Wednesday 20th Hobart - Wineglass Bay & Maria Island
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today we join Par Avion on a spectacular tour flying along the East Coast. See iconic Wineglass Bay and Freycinet Peninsula from above and fly over Freycient National Park before landing on Maria Island home to rare and endangered wildlife. Explore the island and enjoy a sumptuous gourmet lunch. 

Thursday 21st Port Arthur Day Tour
Breakfast, Dinner
Today journey to Tasman Peninsula and Port Arthur Historic Site. A guided tour of Australia's best-preserved convict settlements brings Australia's early convict history to life.
 
Friday 22nd Hobart - Strahan
Breakfast, Dinner
Leaving Hobart, we enter the rugged west coast. Stop and take in some of the magical scenery along the way including the spectacular Nelson Falls.

Saturday 23rd Strahan - Gordon River Cruise
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning join Gordon River Cruises for a spectacular cruise into the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area aboard Spirit of the Wild. Cruising in style on the premier upper deck, discover ancient rainforest, the pristine calm waters of the Gordon River and the history of Heritage Landing and Sarah Island.  
 
Sunday 24th
Strahan to Cradle Mountain
Breakfast, Dinner

This morning we enjoy a trip on the West Coast Wilderness Railway. Journey through temperate rainforest and along the King River Gorge onboard a steam train, and climb the southern hemisphere’s steepest rail track under the unique power of the Abt rack and pinion rail system.
Mid-afternoon we head to Cradle Mountain. Early evening, visit Devils@Cradle for a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the Tasmanian Devils at feed time.

Monday 25th  Cradle Mountain to Smithton
Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast we make our way to Dove Lake at the foot of Cradle Mountain. Marvel at this Tasmanian icon that attracts visitors from all over the world. The serenity of this area is breathtaking. Leaving Cradle Mountain, late morning, we head north-west to Smithton.

Tuesday 26th   Smithton
Breakfast, Dinner
This morning we explore the North West and tour through historic Woolnorth and Van Deimen's Land Farm (est 1826) - Australia's biggest dairy farm. At the township of Stanley - home of ‘The Nut’, the optional chairlift ride to the summit will give you panoramic views of the Bass Strait and the Tasmanian coastline.

Wednesday 27th  Smithton to Launceston
Breakfast, Dinner

Our journey today takes us through the townships of Burnie, Sheffield – the town of murals and Railton a town made famous for its topiary.

Thursday 28th
Launceston and Tamar Valley
Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast, visit Launceston’s Cataract Gorge. Then travel down the Tamar Valley to Beaconsfield and Beauty Point to visit Platypus House and view these unique creatures and get up close to the Echidnea's.
 
Friday 29th
Launceston to Hobart
Breakfast, Dinner

Today we visit the village of Ross, known for its original sandstone buildings and convict history. We then travel to Richmond, home of the oldest bridge in Australia that’s still in use.

Hobart

This morning visit the famous Salamanca Markets before joining a delicious Wild Tasmanian Seafood Cruise. 
 
Sunday 31st
Hobart to Auckland

Today we farewell Tasmania and transfer to Hobart Airport for your homeward flights.
